2011-12: CCSA Men’s Swimmer of the Year… 2012 CCSA Men’s Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet… CSCAA Scholar All-America Honoree… Named a Mid-Major All-American by CollegeSwimming.com… Four-time CCSA Men’s Swimmer of the Week honoree… NCAA qualifier… Posted the ‘Cats top times of the season in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 56.65 at the Kenyon Invite (12/3) and in the 200-yard breaststroke with a mark of 1:59.08 at the NCAA Championships (3/22)… Was also the Wildcats’ top swimmer in the 200-yard IM with a 1:46.69 at the CCSA Championships (2/16) and in the 400-yard IM with a 3:47.38 also at the CCSA meet… Qualified for the NCAA Championship meet in the 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM and 400-yard IM… Recorded Davidson’s second-best time of the season in the 200-yard backstroke with a 1:50.96 at the Kenyon Invite (12/1)… Won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:55.11 and was the top finisher in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 2:06.41 in the season-opener vs. Clemson (10/1)… Swam on Davidson’s first-place 400-yard free relay (3:26.32), won the 100-yard backstroke (58.04) and took second in both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:07.32) and 200-yard IM (1:57.18) vs. East Carolina (10/15)… Was on the winning 400-yard medley relay and picked up a pair of wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.27) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:06.36) against William & Mary (10/29)… Swam the breaststroke leg of Davidson’s winning 400-meter medley relay and earned wins in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:05.90), 200-meter breaststroke (2:26.03) and 400-meter IM (4:36.00) vs. College of Charleston (11/5)… A member of Davidson’s 800-free relay team that took second place at the Kenyon Invitational (12/3) in a time of 6:42.93… Won the 400-yard IM b touching the pads in 3:53.35 to set a poll record and finished second out of 28 swimmers in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 56.64 at the Kenyon meet… Also swam on the ‘Cats’ third-place 400-yard medley relay and was the runner-up in the 200-yard back… Finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 58.13 and was top swimmer in the 200-yard event with a 2:08.26 and in the 400 IM with a 4:04.72 to lead the Wildcats to a 195.5-88.5 victory over Gardner-Webb (12/21)… Was the runner up to teammate Dylan Ludwick in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:44.18 and took third in the 100-yard free with a 48.23 at the CCSA Duals (1/28)… Swam on Davidson’s first-place 400-yard medley relay at the meet as well… Was a three-time individual champion at the 2012 CCSA Championships, taking top honors in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200-yard breaststroke to earn Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet honors (2/16)… Was also a member of Davidson’s first place 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay and 400-yard free relay to help the ‘Cats to the runner-up spot at the meet… Qualified for the NCAA meet in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200-yard breaststroke… Took 47th in the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.04 and just missed the finals of the 400 IM with a time of 3:49.65 for 19th place at the NCAA National Championships (3/22)… Set new school and CCSA records in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:59.01 to take 28th place at the national meet.
