2018-19 (Junior): Swam to eighth in the 100 butterfly at the A-10 championships • His A-10 100 fly preliminary time of 48.59 pushed him into a tie for second on the program’s all-time performers list • Also swam on Davidson’s 200 and 400 medley relay teams that placed seventh and sixth, respectively, at A-10s • Placed fourth in the 100 fly at the Bucknell Invitational in November • Swam on the 200 and 400 medley relays that placed fifth and sixth, respectively, at Bucknell • Posted individual wins in the 100 fly against Georgetown and VMI and in the 50 fly against George Mason.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Competed in nine meets in butterfly and freestyle events… scored after finishing 10thoverall in the 100 fly at the Atlantic 10 Championships, moving into fourth on the all-time list (49.24)… member of the 200 medley relay at A-10s that finished seventh overall, swimming the butterfly portion… won the 100 fly at the Gardner-Webb dual… recorded three top 10 finishes at TPI Invite… won the 100 fly at the Georgetown dual and tied for first in the event at the Queens dual with teammate Will Tabor.
2016-17 (Freshman): Competed in all eight meets in mostly backstroke and butterfly events… took second in both the 100 fly and a special 50 fly race at the Richmond Duals (10/22, 51.79, 23.45)… finished 14th in the finals of the massive Kenyon Invitational in the 100 fly (51.26)… recorded the sixth-best time in program history in the 100 fly at the A-10 Championships (49.97).
Before Davidson: Swam for four years at Bishop McGuinness Catholic in Kernersville, N.C., where he served as captain during his senior year... State champion in the 200 free relay during the 2015-16 season... Earned the Coach's Award in 2015... Led the Villians to four consecutive NCHSAA 1A Northwest Conference Championships (2013-2016)... School record holder in the 50 free and 100 fly... Also spent time working with the Greensboro Community YMCA and Boy Scouts of America
