2009: Opened season with fourth-place finish in 25:39 as Davidson won the USC Upstate Eye Opener Invitational … Was team’s third-finisher, taking 44th overall at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic in 25:06, the 10th-best time in Davidson cross country history … Placed 18th as Davidson’s third-finisher in 25:42 at the Blue Ridge Mountain Open (Appalachian State) … Finished one-spot shy of earning a place on the All-Southern Conference team in 15th (25:50) as Davidson placed a program-best second at the SoCon Championships.
2008: Opened season with second place finish (25:35) at the USC Upstate Eye Opener … Placed eighth at the Winthrop Invitational.
2007: Ran a season-best 26:06.10 at the SoCon championships and finished 19th overall with the team's second best time ... also competed at the Furman Invitational (27:31, 31st).
2006: Injured.
Track & Field
2009: Did not compete indoors … Made season debut outdoors UNC Charlotte 49er Classic in the 5000m finishing in 15:19.17 … Competed in both the 5,000m (sixth, 15:28.05) and 10,000m (seventh, 32:41.70) at the outdoor SoCon Championships.
2008: Ran a season-best 15:33.50 in the indoor 5,000-meters at the Carolina Classic (11th) ... did not compete in outdoor season.
2007: Indoor SoCon Runner of the Week (Jan. 18), after turning in Top-10 Wildcat performance in 3,000-meters (8:43.35), second overall at UNC Opener … raced to second-place finish in 5,000-meters with team-best time (15:24.97) at Emory Invitational … second place at Charlotte Invitational in 3,000-meters, earning place on Davidson Top Ten Performance and Performer lists … earned All-SoCon honors at outdoor SoCons with a second place finish in 5,000-meters (15:25.93) … also finished fourth in 10,000-meters.
Prep / Personal: Finished 12th at 2005 Foot Locker South Regional Cross Country Championships, just two places out of qualifying for the Foot Locker Nationals ... during senior year of indoor track, finished 14th in the two-mile at Nike Indoor Nationals ... also competed during the outdoor track & field season and won the Great Eight Invitational in the 3200-meter race with a personal best time of 9:13.14 ... served as the vice-president of the National Honor Society and was a National Merit Commended Student ... an AP Scholar with Honor ... a Bryan Scholar finalist.
