2011: Named All-PFL Honorable Mention • Ranked ninth in the nation and first in the PFL in punt return yards with 11.6 a return • Ranked 11th in the PFL in kick return yards with 20 markers an attempt • Played in all 11 games on special teams and defense • Tied a school record with a 94-yard punt return for touchdown against Marist • Finished the campaign with three tackles and a pass breakup on defense.
2010: Played in two games.
2009: Did not see any game action.
Prep Years: Played for coach Phil Hayford at Shorecrest Prepatory • First-team all-conference and all-district as a senior • Won 2008 Haskell Award, given for outstanding character displayed on the field while maintaining excellent grades • Team captain as a senior • Named Bay Area Top Performer of the Week in 2008 • Also lettered in soccer • National Honor Society, National Art Society, National Latin Honor Society.
Personal: Born Feb. 12, 1991 • The son of Michael Callahan and Inguna Varslavane-Callahan • Has two older brothers, Jim and Matt • Inguna ran track at the University of Latvia, where she was the 100 meter national champion • Worked each summer on a dairy farm in Europe.
