Prep Years: Three-year starter and team captain as a senior for coaches Phil Williams and Ed Susi at Weddington High School • Two-time All-Southwestern 4A and two-time All-Union County as an offensive lineman • Also named to Union County Super Team twice and a 2008 Charlotte Observer All-Star Scholars finalist • National Honor Society, National Math Honor Society.
