2017: Served as a team captain with Matt Reinikka… Started all 16 games he appeared in… Lone goal came in Davidson’s 2-1 win over Winthrop (9/9/17)… Also added an assist in 2-2 draw with Rhode Island (10/14/17)… Helped the Wildcats to three shutouts.
2016: Started six games in 16 appearances in his junior season... Scored in Davidson’s loss against Wake Forest (9/27)... Recorded an assist at Fordham (10/23)... Attempted eight shots over the course of the season.
2015: Started all 18 games as a sophomore… Finished third on the club with 26 shot attempts… Netted a 106th minute golden-goal in the Wildcats 2-1 league win at St. Bonaventure (10/14)… Also provided assists in victories over NC State (9/7) and USC Upstate (9/25).
2014: Played in five games as a freshman, scoring a goal on two shots… Tallied his first career goal against UMass (11/2).
Prep/Personal: Club Disney Soccer Showcase Champion in 2010 and 2011... Scored 36 goals and had 45 assists in high school... Three-time team MVP... Also lettered in basketball, swimming and cross country... Member of National Honor Society... An AP Scholar... Son of Lori and Billy Coxhead... Father played soccer for the Wildcats...
