2013: Competed in all six events … placed 30th in the season opening Carolina Collegiate 5K in 16:53 … seventh finisher on the team in 26:58 at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic (8K) … posted top 8K time of the year at the Blue Ridge Mountain Open (26:15) to placed 83rd overall and sixth on the team … seventh finisher for Davidson at the NCAA Southeast Regionals in 32:46 (10K)
2012: Placed 22nd at the USC Upstate Eye Opener in 27:51 … finished the Virginia Tech Invitational in 27:37 … completed the Charlotte Cross Country Invitational in 27:51.
2011: Did not compete.
2010: Competed in the Covered Bridge Open (6400m) and the Clemson Invitational (8K) ... was Davidson’s seventh finisher in both, crossing the line in 21:15 and 26:14, respectively.

2013: Competed in three events during the indoor season and in the 5000m at the Wofford Invitational (16:55.61) during the outdoor season … posted top indoor times of 15:57.72 in the 5000m at the JDL College Kick-off Classic and 9:27.00 in the 3000m at the Wake Forest Invitational.

Before Davidson: Three and four year letter winner on the track and cross country teams, respectively, at St. Alban’s School… named twice to the All-Conference cross country team… All-Met Honorable Mention cross-country in 2009… conference runner-up in 2009 for cross-country… all-private school state team in 2009… three-time conference runner up in 3200m… awarded the Coaches Award twice in cross-country... awarded the Track Coaches Award in 2010… his team was three-time cross-country conference team champions and Private School Champions in 2009, Track Conference Team Champions in 2010… is a National Merit Scholar, National AP Scholar, Norris Scholar… Cum Laude… Salutatorian.
Personal: Son of Jim and Linda Durling… has two siblings, Becky and Ellie… Becky is Division III track and cross-country runner at the University of Chicago… double majors in history and philosophy.
