Paschall Leads 'Cats after Round 1 of A-10 Golf Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman Alexander Paschall signed for an even-par 72 to lead the Davidson men's golf team after 18 holes of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships Monday.
The three-day / 54-hole event is being played at Evermore Resort Golf Club.
Paschall's day consisted of four birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey to go along with 11 pars, putting him tied for ninth place, five shots off the pace.
Carson Looney of VCU opened with a five-under 67 to grab the individual lead after day one.
Davidson's Nate Faulkner is one back of his teammate in a tie for 14th following an opening round score of 73.
The Wildcats, who held the outright lead after nine holes of play, will enter tomorrow's round tied for eighth, but just eight shots out of third.
VCU (-3) holds the top spot on the team leaderboard by one of George Mason (-2) followed by Dayton (+5).
Price Miller (+5), Davis Sayman (+7) and Jackson Bode (+10) are also in the Davidson lineup this week.
Tomorrow's second round will begin at 7:30 a.m. off the 1st and 10 tees.
