AIKEN, S.C. – Davis Sayman signed for a final round one-over 71 to lead the Davidson men's golf team Tuesday at the 2026 Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by USC Aiken.
The two-day/54-hole event was played on the 6,617-yard, Par 70 Palmetto Golf Club layout.
Sayman, who finished at 217 (+7), finished one back of sophomore and teammate Nate Faulkner (216/+6).
Clayton Couey (T46/+10), Benjamin Newfield (T58/+17) and Price Miller (70/+21) were also in the Davidson lineup.

Davidson will wrap up its "Spring Break" swing at the Peoples Championship hosted by Western Carolina March 12-14 on Saint Simons Island. The Wildcats have won two of the last three team titles, while finishing runner-up a year ago.
