Three Wildcats Earn A-10 Weekly Honors

WASHINGTON — After Saturday's season opener against Queens, Davidson has secured three of the Atlantic 10 Conference's weekly swimming and diving awards.
Swimmer Dylan Felt and diver Elle Jacobsen swept the A-10 Performer of the Week honors, while swimmer Henry Shoemaker was named A-10 Rookie of the Week.
Felt swam the A-10's top times in the 100 free (45.76) and 200 free (1:38.99), while Shoemaker posted the league's fastest times in the 500 free (4:44.82) and 1,000 free (9:43.07).
Jacobsen posted scores of 271.45 (1-meter) and 276.00 (3M) and earned an NCAA Zones cut in the 1M.
The Wildcats will visit Duke on Oct. 10.
