DAVIDSON, N.C. – Freshman Kai Villagomez advanced to the men's singles semifinals before falling to the eventual champion, delivering a solid showing for the Wildcats as they hosted the Atlantic 10 Master's this past weekend at the Davidson Tennis Courts.
Villagomez continued his impressive rookie fall with a straight set win over Enrique Lana of Duquesne and a comeback win over Richmond's Davis Wiley on Friday. In the semifinal match, he was defeated in straight sets by Dayton's Mikkel Zinder.
