Kollock and Langford Advance to Round of 16 at ITA Regionals

CHAPEL HILL, NC - Savanna Kollock and Bryson Langford defeated UNC Asheville today, 8-0, to advance to the round of 16 at ITA Regionals. This is the first time ever the women's tennis program has reached the round of 16 in a doubles draw at ITA Regionals. Kollock and Langford are set to compete next on Sunday morning at 10 a.m against UNC Charlotte's Ni Xi and Sara Suchankova.
Kollock and Langford started off the ITA Regionals doubles draw with an 8-4 win against UNCG on Friday.
In the singles draw, Savanna Kollock defeated Charleston Southern's Camila Molina Barranco 6-1, 6-1 on Friday. Kollock dropped her second singles match to NC State's Mia Slama on Saturday.
