Wildcats Begin Play at 2025 Furman Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Led by freshman Alexander Paschall, the Davidson men's golf team began play at the 2025 Furman Intercollegiate Saturday.
The two-day / 54-hole event is being played on campus at Furman University Golf Club.
Making just his third collegiate start, Paschall opened with a season-low four-under 67 highlighted by seven birdies to find himself in second place after round one.
After opening with the second lowest score of the day, the freshman will enter the final round tied for seventh following 74 on his second 18.
Davis Sayman (+8) carded the 'Cats' lowest score in the afternoon with a with a 69.
Clayton Couey (+8), Nate Faulkner (+11) and Will Tharin (+13) are also in the Davidson lineup this weekend, while Owen Jessop (+8) is competing as an individual.
Campbell and Stetson lead the 15-team field at two-under par. The Hatters' Matthis Lefevre (-5) and Mason Kucia (-5) of Winthrop share the top spot on the individual leaderboard.
Tomorrow's third and final round will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
