Women’s Soccer Unveils 2024 Schedule

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's soccer team has unveiled the 2024 schedule that features eight non-conference contests,10 Atlantic 10 matches and a pair of exhibitions.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Riley Piechnick, in her second season, the Wildcats will kick off August with a pair of exhibition matches, first at Radford (Aug. 7) followed by a trip to in-state opponent UNC (Aug. 10).
The regular season will get underway with back-to-back road games against VMI (Aug. 15) and Furman (Aug. 25). The 'Cats will then round out the first month of season with their home-opener versus ETSU (Aug. 29).
September will see a four-match home stand with contests against Gardner-Webb (Sept. 1), Longwood (Sept. 5), Appalachian State (Sept. 8) and North Florida (Sept. 12). The Sunday contest against the Mountaineers will also serve as Davidson's Senior Day game. The non-conference portion of the 2024 schedule will close at Coastal Carolina (Sept. 15).
Davidson's conference opener will take place at Alumni Stadium against VCU (Sept. 19). The Wildcats will then travel to Duquesne (Sept. 22) and La Salle (Sept. 26) before returning home to face Saint Joseph's (Sept. 29) to end September.
The final month of the regular season will begin on the road at St. Bonaventure (Oct. 3) and will alternate home and away matches over the final five. Davidson will travel to Loyola Chicago (Oct. 13) and UMass (Oct. 24) and play host to Fordham (Oct. 6), George Washington (Oct. 20) and Rhode Island (Oct. 27).
The Atlantic 10 postseason action is set to begin on November 1.
