Smith Snags A-10 Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Honor

WASHINGTON – For the fourth time this year and first time this outdoor season, Jayden Smith was tabbed Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week.
Smith made his spring debut in the 110-meter hurdles this past Saturday at the VertKlasse Meeting. He finished fourth with a time of 13.93 seconds, which currently leads the A-10. He also ran a 22.43 in the 200 at the meet.
It marks the fourth time this season the Richmond, Va., native has been honored by the conference. Smith won Indoor Track Performer of the Week three times during the indoor season on Dec. 6, Jan. 23 and Feb. 6.
