Wildcats Wrap Up VertKlasse Meeting

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A trio of personal records and Top-5 finish highlighted the final day of competition for the Davidson women's track and field team at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted by High Point University.
The Wildcats' Isabella Godoy continued her impressive freshman campaign with a time of 2:13.57 in the 800 meters to come home fifth.
Amelia Monohan (2:18.53 / 800 M), Parker Smith (2:27.68 / 800 M) and Hannah Casey (15:65 / 100 M Hurdles) recorded personal bests in their respective events.
Sprinter Sophia Hood ran her fastest time (56.25) of the season in 400 to finish seventh.
Seniors Sola Omonije and Kierra Marshall also put together solid showings for Davidson Saturday afternoon. Omonije finished the high jump with a height of 1.65m (5-5") while Marshall ran the 200 in 24.76.
Davidson's outdoor season features seven straight weekends of competition in preparation for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships, which will take place May 4-5 in Fairfax, Va.
