Cegielski Wins Final Defensive Player of the Week Honor

WASHINGTON -- Davidson defender Noelle Cegielski has captured the final Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
Cegielski caused six turnovers and picked up four groundballs during the Wildcats' 15-5 win over Duquesne on Saturday. The Yorktown Heights, NY native led Davidson to its seventh win of the Atlantic 10 season, the Wildcats' most wins ever during A-10 play.
The senior has started and appeared in every game that Davidson has played during her four-year tenure, while collecting 110 ground balls and 88 caused turnovers in her career.
