High Five: Skibbe Wins Fifth Weekly Conference Honor

WASHINGTON -- Davidson lacrosse phenom Jenna Skibbe continues to impress, capturing her fifth Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor on Monday afternoon after another big weekend performance.
The freshman attacker scored her third consecutive hat trick during Davidson's 10-9 win over Saint Joseph's on Saturday, with her first two goals of the day helping the 'Cats jump out to a 4-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Her third goal of the game tied things up at 6-6, beginning Davidson's comeback victory that ultimately led to the program's first win over the Hawks since 2015.
Skibbe and the 'Cats return to Davidson for their final home game of the season on Saturday, April 20 with a 1 p.m. opening draw against St. Bonaventure.
