Women Set for A-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Under the direction of Jen Straub, the Davidson women's indoor track & field team will compete in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center Feb. 23-24.
The two-day event will get underway Friday morning at 9 a.m. Live results will be available both days at Atlantic10.com.
This year's indoor championships also have a new home. A year ago, Rhode Island hosted the indoor championships at Mackal Fieldhouse, but this season, the conference will hold the meet in a neutral venue at the 285,000 square-foot Virginia Beach Sports Center. It will also be the site for the 2024-25 NCAA Indoor Championships.
In preparation for this weekend's event, the Wildcats competed in eight meets this winter highlighted by multiple wins, personal bests and near school records.
"We're really excited about competing at this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships," said Straub. We've been preparing extremely hard over the last couple months for this opportunity and looking forward to the challenge."
"We've had a lot of great performances throughout the season and hope to continue this momentum!"
Davidson, which finished seventh a year ago, has a number of competitors currently ranked inside the Top-10 of the league's performance list:
