Ross Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON -- Davidson freshman Brooke Ross captured the Atlantic 10's Rookie of the Week honor after the opening game of the season, the league office announced Monday.
Ross, a midfielder out of Chicago, scored a pair of goals in her collegiate debut against No. 23 Clemson. She also won three draw controls and caused one turnover.
The Wildcats fell 19-10 to the nationally ranked Tigers in their season opener and will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 14 to take on Winthrop in Rock Hill.
