
Women Return to Action at Carolina Challenge

DAVIDSON, N.C. – After nearly two months away from competition, the Davidson women's indoor track & field team will travel to Columbia, S.C., to participate in the Carolina Challenge hosted by the University of South Carolina this weekend.
The two-day event will get underway Friday at 10 a.m. Live results will be available each day AdkinsTrack.com.
In addition to the Wildcats and host Gamecocks, Belmont Abbey, Benedict, Charlotte, The Citadel, Claflin, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Columbia International, Converse, Coppin State, Florida A&M, Furman, Georgia State, Lander, Limestone, North Greenville, SCAD Savannah, South Carolina, UNC Asheville, UNC Pembroke, Wingate and Winthrop will compete inside the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Davidson, which opened its 2023-24 indoor campaign Dec. 2, will compete over the next four weekends in preparation for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 23-24 in Virginia Beach, Va.
The last time out, the Wildcats shattered a number or personal records, while sprinters Kierra Marshall (200m) and Sophia Hood (400m) recorded Top-3 finishes in their respective events.
