Alex Heffner Selected A-10 Co-Golfer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson's Alex Heffner has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Golfer of the Week for events played Sept. 17-24, as announced by the league office Monday.
A senior from Harrisburg, N.C., Heffner finished tied for second at the VCU Shootout with a 54-hole total of 203 (-13), highlighted by a school and tournament-record 10-under 62 in round two.
In addition, the two-time A-10 Player of the Year led the field in birdies with 20 and Par 4 scoring (3.70/-9).
Through two events this fall, Heffner has a 69.0 stroke average and a pair of Top-10 finishes, running his career total to 10.

Davidson will take a three-week break from tournament action before returning to the course Oct. 9-10 for the USF Invitational hosted by South Florida.
