Cleland Selected PFL Offensive Player of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Fresh off leading the Wildcats to a 49-21 win at Marist, Davidson's Coulter Cleland has been named the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Sunday afternoon.
In just his second career start, Cleland completed 17-of-21 passes for 303 yards to go along with five touchdown passes. In addition, the sophomore became the first Davidson quarterback to throw for over 300 yards in a game since 2014 and just the fourth in program history with five touchdown passes in a game.
Four of Cleland's touchdown passes went for 20 yards or more.

Davidson will play its next two inside Richardson Stadium beginning with a 7 p.m. kickoff against St. Andrews, Saturday, Sept. 23.
