JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Davidson men's track and field team's season came to an end on Friday night after Bryce Anthony finished 24th in the 400-meter hurdle quarterfinals at the NCAA East Prelims in Jacksonville, Florida.
Anthony, a junior from Greensboro, needed to finish within the top three of his heat or have one of the three fastest remaining times out of the three combined heats. None of those factors swung the junior's way as Anthony finished with a time of 53.40.
Friday marked the end to an impressive season for the Wildcats track and field squad which had nine A-10 Champions, six NCAA qualifiers (a program record), and set 25 new school records.
