DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's tennis team fell to the VCU Rams 4-3 on Friday evening.
The Rams took the top two doubles matches to gain the advantage heading into singles action. From there, the 'Cats dropped the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches to fall behind 3-0. Davidson got wins from Kavya Patel and Savanna Kollock to make it 3-2, but the Rams won the fifth singles match to seal the match.
Davidson will be back in action tomorrow for the regular season finale against Richmond at home beginning at noon.
