Burkholder Named A-10 Field Co-Performer of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Junior pole vaulter Megan Burkholder has been named the Atlantic 10 Field Co-Performer of the Week after her record-setting performance at the Duke Invitational last weekend.
The Cozad, Neb. native earned her first career conference performer of the week nod following an impressive outing in the pole vault. Burkholder broke her own outdoor school record after she cleared the bar at 3.80 meters and took third place at the Duke Invitational. She now sits comfortably in the top spot on the conference performance list.
In her last three of four meets, Burkholder has finished inside the top-five and cleared 3.60 meters or better.
The track and field team will return to action next weekend at the University of South Carolina Open (April 22).
