dosReis Named A-10 Men's Track Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Joe dosReis was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Track Performer of the Week after his record-breaking run in the 800-meters last Saturday.
dosReis, a native of Smithfield, R.I., captured the top spot in the 800-meters at South Carolina's Carolina Challenge when he edged Furman's Matthew Smith by one-one hundredth of a second. dosReis' final time of 1:49.82 snapped the program mark, which was set by Daniel Alvarez back in February of 2020.
This past Saturday's victory marked the defending A-10 Champ's fourth career win in the 800, and his time ranks 21st nationally. It was also dosReis' second career A-10 Performer of the Week honor.
