Wildcats Open Up Fall Schedule at UNC Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Davidson women's tennis competed at their first competitions of the fall 2022 season over the weekend, with a majority of the team competing at the UNC Greensboro Invite and a pair of seniors at the Charlotte Invite.
The 'Cats competed against the likes of App State, Gardner-Webb, Elon, ECU and Campbell over the course of Saturday and Sunday play. Sunday's match featured a tough matchup between Davidson and ECU but head coach Susanne Depka saw how well the team competed and improved from Saturday.
Josie Schaffer and Emma Heiderscheit fought at the Charlotte Invite competing against opponents from Charlotte, Clemson, ETSU, Iowa, UNC, Penn State and South Carolina.
