Four 'Cats Qualify for NCAA East Preliminary Meet

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has announced the participants for the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships preliminary competitions and four members of the Davidson Men's Track & Field Team have qualified. THe four representing the Wildcats are Bryce Anthony, Joe dosReis, Cory Gaither and Jayden Smith.
Anthony and Gaither will be running in the 400m hurdles while dosReis will participate in the 1500m and Smith in the 110m hurdles. Smith will kick things off for the 'Cats on Wednesday. May 25 at 6:00 pm CST. The 1500m race is next at 6:30 p.m. CST followed by the 400m hurdles at 8:20 p.m. CST.

The preliminary competitions are scheduled for May 25 - 28. Indiana University, Bloomington, in Bloomington, Indiana will host the East Preliminary. The qualifiers out of these two regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon.
