Drometer Finishes 13th; Earns All-Conference Honors

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Owen Drometer came home 13th out of 138 competitors to pace Davidson at the 2022 Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Richmond.
With his Top-15 finish, Drometer earned a spot on the league's all-conference team.
A senior from Medfield, Mass., Drometer ran the Pole Green Park 8k course in 24:36.1 to post the Wildcats' top time for the third consecutive race.
Kenny Eheman (25:37.0) and Joe doe Reis (25.39.1) were next to cross the line for Davidson finishing 56th and 57th, respectively.
Grahm Breiter (26:10.7 / 78th), Ben Gordon Sniffen (27:30.3 / 99th) and Nathan Stewart (27:52.9 / 100th) also ran for the Wildcats, who finished 12th with 303 total points in an average time of 25:54.
Loyola Chicago, which joined the league this year, captured the team title with 37 total points, highlighted by Chris Devaney and Ryan Martins finishing 1-2 in the individual standings.
La Salle finished just nine points back of the Ramblers with three runners finishing inside the Top-10.
