Wildcats Suffer Setback at Saint Joseph’s

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Davidson dropped a 3-1 decision at conference-foe Saint Joseph's Saturday afternoon on Sean Sweeney Field.
The Wildcats, who entered winners of three straight, fall to 4-6-1 overall and 1-2-0 in league play, while the Hawks improve to 2-4-4 and 1-1-1.
Omry Perel gave the Hawks the early advantage with a goal midway through the opening half and Kenyatta Collins added the eventual game-winner less than 10 minutes later.
Davidson's lone score came just prior to intermission when Denis Krioutchenkov converted from the penalty spot for the second time this season. It was the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week's team-leading seventh score of the season.
Saint Joseph's also got a strike from Blake Driehuis in the 90th minute.
