UNF Bests 'Cats in Three

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Davidson Wildcats battled the University of North Florida on Sunday, ultimately falling 3-0 to the undefeated Ospreys.Â
 Hattie Rodriguez and Bella Brady earned All-Tournament recognition for the second straight weekend, as the duo closed out the road trip with seven kills and 12 digs, respectively.Â
UNF torched the net, hitting a match-best .519 in the first set and finished the day with a .326 attacking percentage, while Davidson struggled to find its pace offensively, swinging a -.038 hitting percentage. The Ospreys were strong from the end line as well, acing the 'Cats nine times.
The Wildcats' strongest set of the day came during set two, tallying eight kills on 31 attempts (.097).
Davidson will return to play next weekend on the road, competing against Campbell, Idaho State and Charleston in the College of Charleston Invitational.
