BRONX, N.Y. — Davidson had its share of scoring chances Thursday night, but an early Fordham goal proved to be the difference in a 1-0 women's soccer game.
With the Atlantic 10 loss, the Wildcats are now 4-7-1 overall.
Davidson held a 4-3 edge on corner kicks and had a 3-2 advantage in shots-on-goal. Kendall Bushick threatened in the 21st minute, but Serena Mensah was there to save it for the Rams.
In the second half, Shannon Lytle tested Mensah in the 70th minute, and Hannah Casey's shot in the 85th minute was also saved.
Fordham's Milan Bornstein scored in the 16th minute.
