Wildcats Finish Second in All Ohio Open Race

Davidson led by freshman Siebert and Griffith
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Davidson Wildcats took second place in a field of 17 teams at the All Ohio Open Race hosted by the Cedarville Yellowjackets on Friday afternoon. Rookies Charlie Siebert and Henry Griffith finished sixth and seventh overall in the 8k race highlighting the 'Cats top two finish.
Siebert recorded a time of 26:27.0 followed by Griffith's seventh place time of 26:31.1.
Davidson tallied 59 points to finish behind the Saint Louis Bilikens who claimed the top spot with 15 points at the meet held at the Elvin R. King Cross Course.
Every Wildcat who raced crossed the finish line in the top 30. Freshman Kenny Eheman finished 12th with a time of 26:39.7 with freshman Jay Shanahan right behind him in 14th place, marking a 26:41.9 finish. Junior Ben Gordon Sniffen crossed the line in the 22nd spot with freshman Grahm Breitr rounding out the top 30.

Davidson will return to the track at the Royals Challenge on Oct. 8 in Charlotte, N.C.
