Davis' Record-Setting Season Comes to a Close at the NCAA East Prelims

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Women's track and field's Anna Davis concluded a dominant season in the hurdles at the NCAA East Preliminary Meet Thursday night at Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.
Davis, the program's all-time leader in the 400-meter hurdles, stopped the clock under a minute for the second time this season, leaning across the line in 59.99 seconds. Her record time of 59.87 seconds set at the Atlantic 10 Championship earned her a silver medal. The Clarkesville, Ga., native set the standard in six straight attempts this season, holds the top-six performances all-time and seven of the top 10.
