Twelve 'Cats Named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – The National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame (NFF) announced the members of the 2021 Hampshire Honor Society Wednesday afternoon.
The honor society consists of college football players competing in their final season eligibility from all divisions. The players must be major contributors to their programs and have maintained a cumulative GPA above 3.2 throughout their collegiate careers.
twelve Wildcats were recognized as Davidson was one of just 22 schools in the country to have at least nine honorees.
One of the selections, senior quarterback Tyler Phelps, was named to the 2019 Academic All-Pioneer Football League Team and was the team's nominee for the Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award.
