Wildcats Set to Co-Host Irish Creek Intercollegiate

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Davidson and its cross-county rival Charlotte will host the 2021 Irish Creek Intercollegiate, April 2-3, at The Club at Irish Creek.
The two-day 54-hole event will begin with an 9:30 a.m. shotgun start Friday morning on the Par 71, 7,099-yard layout. Following 36 holes on the opening day, Saturday's final round will also tee off at 9:30 a.m.
Through three events this spring, the Wildcats have posted a pair of Top-10 finishes, including a T-7th showing at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate earlier this week.
Viraj Garewal (71.33 stroke average), Alex Ross (75.33), Brian Garrett (73.44), Alex Heffner (74.77) and Clayton Tribus (77.33) will be in Davidson's lineup this weekend, while Dean Naime, Cole Walter, Ethan Hall and Ben Morehead will compete as individuals.
