DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head lacrosse coach Kim Wayne officially welcomes the addition of 10 newcomers for the upcoming 2021 season, announced Friday.
The Davidson Lacrosse Class of 2024 features scholar-athletes from California, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
The Wildcats welcome to the squad; Julianne Carey (Blue Bell, Pa.), Noelle Cegielski (Yorktown Heights, N.Y), Paige Doyle (Pleasanton, Calif.), Lauren Garcia (Daniel Island, S.C.), Brynn Jones (Slingerlands, N.Y.), Caroline Moran (Nanuet, N.Y.), Alyssa Natoli (Monorville, N.Y.), Morgan O'Brien (Berwyn, Pa.), Sophia Passalaqua (Rumson, N.J.) and Page Wolfenden (Hillsborough, Calif.).
"I am excited to welcome these 10 scholar athletes to Davidson. This class has already shown a tremendous amount of resilience after losing their senior lacrosse seasons as well as all of the other activities and celebrations that come along with being a senior," said Wayne.
Coming in to help the attack and midfield; Lauren Garcia, Caroline Moran and Page Wolfenden.
Garcia had a prolific sophomore season at Gill St. Bernard's, scoring 100 goals for the Knights. In total she tallied 144 goals, scooped up 122 ground balls and won 119 draw controls. Garcia made a pair of All-Conference teams and was named the top sophomore player in New Jersey in 2018. She was her team's Most Valuable Player her junior year and was later tabbed to be a team captain.

Wolfenden was tabbed an All-American for her efforts during her junior year and was a two-time All-League honoree for Menlo School. A two-time WBAL Attacker of the Year, Wolfenden registered 134 goals and 83 assists, and was great in the circle, earning 219 draw controls. Wolfenden garnered San Mateo Daily Journal Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year honors in her final two completed seasons and helped lead her team to three straight WBAL Championships.
Julianne Carey and Sophia Passalaqua head to Davidson to help out in the midfield.
Carey travels south from Pa. after a second team All-Inter AC and All-Main Line season at The Agnes Irwin School. She was a member of three PAISAA Championship teams and the 2016 Inter-Ac title squad.

For her efforts, she was voted the Top Junior in New Jersey and helped Rumson-Fair Haven High School win three consecutive Shore Conference Championships and a pair of Central Jersey Group 2 crowns.
