Seven Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Seven Wildcats earned 2020 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognition, announced by the foundation Wednesday.
Members recognized by the honor society have completed their final season of playing eligibility and done so with a cumulative grade point average that exceeds 3.2 throughout the entirety of their collegiate careers.
Making the grade for Davidson – Brian Bourgeois, Vincent Durham, George Hatalowich, Hunter Louthan, Connor Richey, Ethan Steinbacher and Kevin Stipe.
Back in September, Steinbacher was named an NFF William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist, making him one of the top senior scholar-athletes in all of college football.
Steinbacher joined Hatalowich and juniors Tyler Phelps and Wesley Dugger on the Academic All-Pioneer Football Team. Steinbacher is set to graduate with a degree in computer sciences, Hatalowich in economics.
Bourgeois, a staple on the offensive line will earn his degree in political science. Louthan, a tight end, Richey, a wide receiver, and Stipe, a safety, will all earn bachelor's degrees in economics. The versatile Durham, who ended his playing career as a tight end, studied biology during his time at Davidson.
