Hatalowich Honored By Uplifting Athletes

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Senior George Hatalowich was selected to the Uplifting Athletes 2020 Rare Disease Champion Team and was honored at a banquet last weekend with the four fellow members of the squad.
In its 12th year, a leader in college football who has realized his or her potential to make a positive and lasting impact on the Rare Disease Community has been awarded the distinction of Rare Disease Champion. For the first time ever in 2020, Uplifting Athletes shifted the focus of the award to a team concept to provide a platform to recognize all the leaders in college football that have made a significant and lasting impact on the Rare Disease Community.
Hatalowich's impact on service was first awarded when he accepeted a spot on the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in September.
The Hummelstown, Pa., native joined the Rare Disease Champion Team with Anthony Lotti (Penn), Antwan Dixon (Kent State), Sam Heckel (Syracuse) and Joshua Paschal (Kentucky).
