Wrestling Falls at No. 12 Pitt

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Wrestling fell at national number 12 Pittsburgh Sunday, 51 to -1.
Davidson freshman Steven Newell used a pair of escapes and earned three points in the third period, but was unable to overcome an early 4-1 deficit in a 6-4 decision loss. Wildcat sophomore Will Baldwin also battled in a 6-2 loss.
Davidson travels to Southern Conference foe Gardner-Webb Sunday, Feb. 16 for the final road dual of the season. The first bout from Boiling Springs is slated for 2 p.m.
