Spring Slate of Games Set for Davidson W. Soccer

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head coach Adam Denton announced today the 2020 Spring schedule for Davidson women's soccer. In total, the Wildcats will play five games this Spring, with two of those being held at Alumni Stadium. In addition, an Alumnae game will be hosted on Saturday, April 18.
"The Spring season is vital for individual and team growth, and over the past seasons our groups have adapted well to our spring program," said Denton. "This group is looking forward to the season and we have a good schedule of games in place. The players have continued to work very hard during our off-season phase and now we are looking forward to putting those efforts into a game situation. We have a young group and the Spring will provide opportunities for individuals to continue to improve technically, tactically and physically."
The season will kick off at Alumni Stadium against Queens, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m, followed by a short trip to High Point, N.C., to play the HPU Panthers and Catawba College, Feb. 23.
After the players return from Spring break, Davidson will travel to Wofford, March 14, before playing its next game at home, March 28, vs. Wingate at 2 p.m.
The following week, the Wildcats travel to Presbyterian for a game on April 4, before heading out for Easter Break. Upon returning from the break, the 'Cats will hold their annual alumni game, April 18.
Admission, as with all home women's soccer games at Alumni Stadium, is free for fans.
