
Anthony Tabbed A-10 Men's T&F Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the second time in as many tries, Davidson earned the Atlantic 10 Men's Track and Field Rookie of the Week, announced by the league Tuesday.
Wildcat freshman Bryce Anthony reset the program's 60-meter hurdle record in just his second meet for the Wildcats, stopping the clock in 8.20 seconds. The Greensboro, N.C., native broke teammate Cory Gaither's previous mark of 8.25 seconds set at the Patriot Games in January, 2019.
Davidson rookie Jordan Benson earned the same distinction for the same event back on Dec. 10.
The Wildcats return in split-squad action starting at Boston University Friday, Jan. 24 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, while the rest of the team heads to day one of Flat is Fast at JDL Fast Track beginning Saturday, Jan. 25.
