Daughters Paces Field in 800 on Day One of the Charlotte Invite

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sophomore Eleni Daughters claimed the 800-meter Invitational Friday night on the opening day of action at the Charlotte Invite.
Daughters paced the field in the half mile with a time of 2:12.10. Senior Claire Nieusma placed fourth, stopping the clock in 2:14.59.
Senior Sophia Mills posted a massive personal best in the 1500-meter Invitational, stopping the clock in 4:28.60, good for 10th overall in a loaded field. Classmate Caroline Yarbrough was third in her heat with a time of 4:36.82.
Davidson returns to the track tomorrow, Saturday, Apr. 13 for the final day of the Charlotte Invite.
