ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Davidson men's track and field team wrapped up the final day of the Winthrop Invitational Saturday.
Junior James Davis cleared 4.45-meters (14'7.25) in the pole vault to place fifth on the day.
Freshman Cory Gaither edged senior teammate Sean Caveney in the 400-meter hurdles for sixth overall, stopping the clock in 53.55 seconds. Caveney came home in 54.14 seconds.
Freshman Paul Mullinax stretched the tape 41.40-meters (135'10) in the discus for a top-20 finish.
Davidson returns to the track Friday, Mar. 29 for the opening day of the Raleigh Relays.
