Men's T&F Competes in Opening Day of Winthrop Invite

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Davidson men's track and field team opened day one of the Winthrop Invitational Friday.
Freshman Cory Gaither posted a preliminary time of 14.79 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, placing eighth to claim the final spot for Saturday's finals.
Sophomore Nick Peeples raced down the track in the 100-meter dash in 11.02 seconds. Classmates Miles Hollimon (11.33 seconds) and Kerry Winfrey (11.51) also competed well in the event. Cole Reynolds competed in the 400-meter run, stopping the clock in 54.19 seconds.
Davidson returns to the track tomorrow, Saturday, Mar. 23 for the final day of the Winthrop Invitational.
