Looking to continue the winningest era in program history, the Davidson baseball team will open the 2020 season Friday, Feb. 14 against Lehigh.
The Wildcats are coming off a 29-22 campaign, which capped a four-year stretch with 125 wins.
The three-game opening series with Lehigh begins an 11-game homestand, and the Wildcats will play 15 of their first 17 at Wilson Field, also including games against N.C. Central, Georgetown, Winthrop, Lafayette and Siena.
Davidson will host Duke on Tuesday, March 10 at Charlotte's BB&T Ballpark, home of the Triple-A Charlotte Knights. The Wildcats will visit the Blue Devils, who reached the NCAA Super Regionals last year, on Tuesday, March 31.
Along with the Blue Devils and Winthrop, the Wildcats will play home-and-home series with non-conference foes N.C. A&T, USC-Upstate and High Point, while also hosting Gardner-Webb and Wake Forest and visiting Charleston Southern.
The 24-game Atlantic 10 slate begins March 20 when UMass visits. The league schedule also includes home series against Saint Joseph's, VCU and George Washington, and the Wildcats will visit Dayton, Richmond, George Mason and Fordham in A-10 play.
The A-10 Tournament, set for May 20-23, will be hosted by VCU at The Diamond in Richmond, Va.
