Ross Named A-10 Golfer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Coming off his second straight Top-5 finish, Davidson's Alex Ross has been named Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Ross finished the 2019 Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational tied for second out of 81 competitors with a 54-hole total of 215 (71-73-71).
In the final round, Ross got off to a fast start with three birdies on his first four holes to grab the outright lead. Following eight straight pars, the 2018 A-10 Rookie of the Year bogeyed his 13th and 14th holes before closing with four more pars.
Through two fall events, Ross has a 71.67 stroke average.
