
Hill Named PFL Defensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Davidson sophomore linebacker Harrison Hill was tabbed the Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Sunday.
Hill led the Wildcat defense in Saturday's season opening win against Brevard, registering 8 tackles, 5 of them solo stops, and returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown. His pick-six opened the second quarter and extended the lead to 20-0.
Hill is the first Wildcat to be named PFL Defensive Player of the Week since Tony Collins earned the nod in September of 2016.
Davidson returns to the field Saturday, Sep. 8 when Chowan visits Richardson Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m.
