AMHERST, MASS. – Davidson goalkeeper Sarah Zeszotarski made 10 saves, but field hockey fell 3-0 to UMass in Atlantic 10 Conference action Friday afternoon at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-6 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic 10, while UMass improves to 5-6 and 3-1.
UMass struck in the 23rd minute on Antonet Louw's 13th goal of the season, which currently ranks second in the A-10. The Minutewomen added to their lead with a Georgie McTear goal in the 46th minute and when Sophie Johnson scored less than 10 minutes later.
Wildcats Caitlyn Gund and Kristin Kisa put shots on goal.

Davidson will play its third straight road game Sunday when it visits Yale at 12 p.m.
